KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A gunman walked into a barbershop Friday afternoon and opened fire, killing one man and injuring another, police said.The gunman entered TJ's Barbershop at 13th Street and Washington Boulevard shortly before 4:30 p.m.Police said the people in the barbershop ran out of the building.
The gunman came out and got into a silver, two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo that was driven by a second man, police said. The vehicle headed west on Washington Boulevard, and the gunman continued shooting at the people who were fleeing, officers said.Myurel Josenberger, 20, collapsed and died outside the barbershop. Another person was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.Early reports indicated that someone in the shop fired back at the gunman, but that did not happen, police said.A relative of Josenberger told KMBC that he had children."He's got a smile out of this world. He has a smile that will just warm the world up," a relative said.The Monte Carlo was possibly a 2005 or newer model and had tinted windows.
