Donors Give New Trailer To Boy Scouts

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- Local Boy Scouts who were targeted by thieves will be able to camp this summer as planned, thanks to some generous donors.Earlier this week, someone stole Troop 178's trailer from a church parking lot on Highway 40. The trailer was packed with camping equipment for the Boy Scouts.Donors gave the Scouts a new trailer, camping equipment and a Bass Pro gift card.
The Scouts said they're grateful they won't have to cancel their summer plans."It feels great because now we have supplies to go down and camp with and we're not going to be so hot," Scout Ethan Shearhant said.No arrests have been made.
